- These .tmp files are generated by the ‘Thermo Tracer’, a thermal imaging device manufactured by Indonesian company NEC. The files created from this device can be opened using the thermal imaging software MikroView. This signature is based on files generated by the TH5100 model. It appears that tmp files follow the naming convention TH5100 + the image number, for example TH510001.tmp, TH510002.tmp etc.
