- Description
- An early version of Finale notation files in plain text format. They were used to transfer Finale documents between Windows and Mac. Finale was originally created for Coda Music Software, later sold to Net4Music which then became MakeMusic. Originally made for Macintosh in 1988 it was later made available for Microsoft Windows. The Enigma stands for 'Environment for Notation Intuitive Graphic Music Algorithms'.
