Description
INTERLIS is a description and transfer mechanism for spatial data. INTERLIS 2 Model files contain the the geodata and can be converted to XML Schema (XSD) files (by using a software called INTERLIS compiler). Such models are described using a Modula-like language, which can be thought of as a superset of UML.
